Drop That Mike
Freeze it. Or lose it.
Vote Freeze or Pass live during every performance: the audience decides who stays. Freeze means keep going; every Pass is a strike against you.
- 01Showcase
Freeze or get passed
All contestants perform, one at a time, for up to 5 minutes. While you perform, the audience votes Freeze or Pass in real time.
Every Freeze adds $5.00 to your money bank, up to a max of $250.00. Rack up 20 Passes before your time is up and you're eliminated. Finish your set with fewer than 20 Passes and you move on.
- +$5.00 per Freeze
- Cap $250.00
- 20 Passes = out

Grow it or guard it
Advancing contestants carry over their Round 1 money bank. You choose: freeze your earnings and sit out, or perform again to chase the max payout.
The stakes rise here. Every Freeze still earns +$5.00, but every Pass now costs you −$2.00. The contestant with the highest money bank at the end of Round 2 advances to the final round.
- +$5.00 per Freeze
- −$2.00 per Pass
- Top pot advances

You vs. the clock
The Round 2 winner performs solo against a 3-minute countdown clock, fighting to freeze their money before time runs out.
Every Freeze locks in your money for 5 seconds. Any stretch without a Freeze costs you −$1.00 per second as the clock ticks. When the clock hits zero, whatever remains in your bank is your cash prize.
- 3:00 on the clock
- Freeze = 5 sec locked
- −$1.00 / sec unfrozen
